Return & Refund Policy
At Hues of Earth, we take pride in handcrafting natural skincare rituals with deep care and intention. Because our products are made fresh without harsh chemicals, your satisfaction and skin safety matter deeply to us.
1. Valid Reasons for Returns & Eligibility
Because our products are handcrafted personal care items, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges due to a change of mind, buyer's remorse, or ordering mistakes.
We will only accept a return or exchange under the following strict conditions:

Incorrect Product Sent: You received a different item from what you actually ordered, and the item remains completely unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

Delivery Window: The error must be reported to our care team and dispatched back to us within 48 hours of delivery.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Orders (Crucial Delivery Notice)
We meticulously package our items to ensure they arrive safely. However, because transit accidents happen, you must inspect your package immediately upon delivery while the rider is still present.

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect: Please reject the damaged item and hand it right back to the rider.

Take Action Immediately: Take a clear photo or short video of the damage at the point of delivery and contact our team via WhatsApp/Phone right away with your order number.
⚠️ Please Note: For transit safety and accountability, we cannot accept claims for broken or damaged bottles/jars once the rider has left the delivery location. Please inspect your package before the rider drives away.
Once verified at the point of delivery, we will immediately arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at absolutely no extra cost to you.
3. Skin Reactions & Allergies Policy (Disclaimer & Liability)
At Hues of Earth, we source clean ingredients; however, natural botanical ingredients can still cause individual skin sensitivities or allergic reactions.

Patch Test Requirement: We strongly advise all customers to perform a 24-hour patch test on a small area of skin before incorporating any new product into their daily ritual.

Liability Waiver: Hues of Earth is not responsible or liable for individual adverse skin reactions, allergies, or sensitivities.

No Refunds for Used Products: We are unable to offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for products that have been opened or used, even in the event of an individual skin reaction.
4. Refund Process
Once your returned item is received back and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 3–7 business days directly back to your original payment method (M-Pesa or bank account via Paystack).
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged under any circumstances:

Opened, unsealed, or used skincare/personal care products (including those causing skin reactions).

Damages reported after the rider has successfully completed the delivery.

Sale, promotional, or discounted items.

Gift cards.
